The year was 1993. Dinosaur fans flocked to the theaters to see Spielberg's latest creation. Up to this point, dinosaurs were clay figurines dragging their tales along the ground. But Spielberg's seamless combination of CGI and animatronics was as big as the subject matter!

Think back. Do you remember the awe and wonder you felt?

Share your experience from those days - in art, in story, as a journal entry, or contribute another deviant's artwork to this group. Submit it to the Live-Action folder.

Let's relive that moment, 90s fans!
Hi, everyone!

I've got another proposition. Feedback is most welcome!

I've been looking through the gallery, and it seems a little bare, and all the folders seem like their tiny little worlds. They're not really "talking" to one another.

I'd like to give this group a more holistic feel. I'd like to encourage crossovers, both within the 90s series and with non-90s series, as long as at least one character comes from the 90s.

So, here is my proposed folders overhaul. Please, feel free to comment if you like the idea; if you wish to make any minor tweeks, or you have another idea all together. This is your group, and I want to make it as enjoyable an experience as I can manage. So here we go:

:bulletblue: Anime/Manga
:bulletblue: Disney
:bulletblue: Non-Disney Western Animation
:bulletblue: Live-Action Movies/TV Shows
:bulletblue: Cartoons
:bulletblue: Music/Games Tributes
:bulletblue: Books/Comic Books (no Manga)

And any other folders people can come up with.

What do you think? Am I on the right track?

The 90's era of cartoons and anime was epic, end of story.

I think good work deserves attention. ;) You're welcome to join the group, if you'd like. The more the merrier. :)

Thank you :) I'm definitely going to join - being a child/teenager of the 90's, your group sounds like fun. Maybe I'm looking through highly biased nostalgia goggles, but I think that our generation lucked out in terms of the quality of children's programmes and films we got. Yes, there was rubbish as well, but what was good was really, really good.

Hahaha! We must be sharing the same goggles then 'cause I feel the same way!
